Lauren Jacobs is a self-professed "modern" yogini, teaching the connectivity, discipline, and awareness taught in a traditional yoga practice but putting a vibrant, playful, relatable, and fast-paced spin on these teachings.
A coll ege athlete, Lauren continued to practice yoga as a means of winding down and stretching. Later, before attending law school, she signed up for her first yoga teacher training; it was there that Lauren realized that a regular practice not only made her more flexible, but also could transform how she handled life's challenges off the mat.
Admittedly, the nutrition piece of Lauren’s holistic approach to health came a bit later. Though generally healthy, Lauren had a nasty sweet tooth and affinity for pasta and bagels. This led to countless headaches and a general worn down and “fuzzy” feeling. At first, Lauren chalked it up to the stress of completing a dual degree program in law and international politics. But when fatigue made this high-energy girl so exhausted that on some days she just didn’t get out of bed, she desperately searched for a solution. Lauren joined the gluten-free train in 2008. Doing so almost entirely wiped out Lauren’s symptoms and compelled Lauren to begin sharing her realization with others.
Lauren has been teaching yoga and fitness classes since 2005. She served as a judge and government ethics attorney before recently turning her attention full-time to her passion for health and wellness.

in the comments section.

Meet trainer Orane Sharpe from Montego Bay Jamaica (Hometown) and Glastonbury Connecticut (now residing in Los Angeles California). This fella has been in sports almost his entire life. Rumor has it, when they took a ultrasound on him, he was doing push ups and jumping jacks while still in his mom’s tummy. Orane played soccer and ran track and field before moving to the US. While in Connecticut, he continued to play soccer then switched to football, excelling at the Defensive End position, basketball, and track and field mainly running 100 meter, 200 meter and 400 meter sprints.
