Apple has been working on a fix for this, however, developing an app for the iPhone, iPad, and of course the Apple TV, and it's created to do just that: bring apps and services into the one environment, or at least the shortcuts needed to get you there. The app is going to work with Samsung's Smart TV services such as Bixby and Universal Guide to provide users with a consistent experience on the platform. In the US, Apple TV channels include services such as HBO, Starz, Showtime, Smithsonian Channel, EPIX, Tastemade and new services like MTV Hits, with more to be added over time around the world.
Apple is letting up to six family members share subscriptions to Apple TV channels, and the company said that it is also allowing downloads of movies and TV shows for offline viewing. Apple has been working with some of the biggest TV manufacturers to expand the footprint of its new TV app. Apple has even thought about the kids in the family with a "Kids" section that features curated content for children of all ages.
The new TV app is available in iOS 12.3 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch starting today, and in tvOS 12.3 for Apple TV. The update also brings the new redesigned Apple TV app along with other security bug fixes.

Legendary actress Doris Day dies aged 97
On the strength of her voice, Day, who had no acting experience, was offered a starring role in 1948's Romance on the High Seas . One never got the sense that Day "used" her looks and charm, but just that films and music allowed us to experience them.
Also today, Apple released the macOS Mojave 10.14.5 software update for Mac users, which also adds AirPlay 2 support for sharing videos, photos, music, and lots more from your Mac computer to a smart TV that supports AirPlay 2, better audio latency on MacBook Pro 2018 models, and better support for large OmniOutliner and OmniPlan documents.
This includes popular services like Acorn and HBO. But at CES, several companies, including LG, Sony, and Vizio, told us that later this year they'd have the app, as well as support for AirPlay 2 and the Apple HomeKit, Apple's Siri-powered smart home system (think Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant). The app will make recommendations based on a mix of curation by human editors and a viewer's watching habits.
The revamped TV app is also available now on Samsung TVs, along with AirPlay 2 support with an upcoming firmware update.
