During an interview on Monday's broadcast of Fox News Radio's "Brian Kilmeade Show", House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) stated that there's no benefit to President Trump attacking the late Senator John McCain and should "separate" McCain's life from the Steele Dossier.
Meghan McCain responded to the president's tweet Saturday about her father by suggesting the president should spend more time with his family instead of obsessing over hers.
"And I thought, your life is spent on your weekends not with your family, not with your friends, but obsessing, obsessing about great men you could never live up to", she said, contrasting Trump with her father.
"I can't imagine having a father that does this on the weekends", she said, to which co-hose Joy Behar replied: "Oh, they're all on the same page".
