Man linked to murdered Sydney dentist dead

Her body was found stuffed inside a suitcase in the boot of her grey Volkswagen Golf at Kingsford, in Sydney's south-east just before 9.30pm on Tuesday. Inside the vehicle, they discovered Reddy's body in a suitcase, showing multiple stab wounds.

She was last seen at Macdonalds following the Mardi Gras parade, and last spoke to her family at around 11am on Sunday, letting them know she was heading home. She and her ex-boyfriend stayed in a hotel in Market Street in Sydney's CBD on Sunday, officials said.

It is understood Dr Reddy worked at Glenbrook Dental Surgery in the lower Blue Mountains.

Less than 24 hours later police made the gruesome discovery of Dr Reddy's remains.

Police on Wednesday confirmed that they had spoken to Narde while investigating Reddy's death before he died on Monday. On March 3rd, her family members reported that she was missing and did not return home from her dental convention at St Leonards.

"He was not at the time of this incident in a relationship with Preethi however there had been a previous relationship", he said.

Three days later, the Australian woman's body was found stuffed in a suitcase in an abandoned auto.

Initial investigation revealed that Preethi Reddy attended a restaurant in George Street and walked alone towards the Market Street later.

ABC identified Preethi's ex-boyfriend as Harsh Narde.

Numerous patients of Reddy posted messages of condolences for her family on the surgery's Facebook page.

"On behalf of my family, I want to thank anyone who shared our appeals to find her, and those who provided information to the police and us over the last few days".

According to reports, the dentist's ex-boyfriend has also died in a road accident that appeared to be a deliberate one the police said. "It takes a lot of effort to be a dentist and she achieved it. the family's so proud that they had a daughter like that", Anand told reporters. The suitcase itself, was found in her auto, which was parked in a street in eastern Sydney, the New South Wales Police said. Quoting Detective Superintendent Gavin Dengate, local newspapers reported that the duo had met in Sydney and the police are still looking at all the movements of the two.

CCTV footage shows Ms Reddy at a McDonald's inside the Strand Arcade in Sydney's CBD about 2.15am on Sunday.
