He also claimed this would strengthen PM Modi.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the party of Prime Minister Imran Khan, on Thursday cited remarks by Bharatiya Janata Party leader BS Yeddyurappa to say that those "desperate to win an election" should be isolated.

Facing flak for linking India's air strike on terror camps in Pakistan with BJP's prospects in Lok Sabha polls, party Karnataka chief B S Yeddyurappa on February 28 said there was no question of seeking electoral gains and the nation came first to him.

He also cautioned BJP party workers to be wary of attempts of attack by the Opposition, whom he called the "masters of fake news".

"SAD-BJP alliance with fight the 2019 Lok Sabha elections together".

Accusing the Prime Minister of having "misplaced priorities", the Congress said that he was "desperate only for re-election". Whole country has welcomed it.

The EU also warned that Britain faced the prospect of either a chaotic exit from the bloc or delaying its planned departure date. But EU leaders insist the legally binding withdrawal agreement, which took a year and a half to negotiate, can't be reopened.

"Glaring case of misplaced priorities!"

Congress cancelled its imp CWC & Rally today. The mega video conference this afternoon is being held amid heightened tension between India and Pakistan.

IAF sources identified the pilot as Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. BJP workers need to tell people the benefits of a strong government, he added.

The state BJP chief has also seemingly been so busy thinking of votes that he doesn't even seem to know a fearless officer of the IAF is now in Pakistani custody. However bad the situation is, the "suit-boot" BJP will continue with celebrations. I beg to differ. "We stand as one nation, action taken by our government is to safeguard our nation & ensure safety of our citizens, not to win a few extra seats", he posted.

Yeddyurappa said the wind was "increasingly blowing in favour of the BJP" and the air strikes have led to a "pro-Modi wave" in the country. The number of Lok Sabha seats contested by the two parties were the same in 2009 as well. "Is this patriotism or crass politics?"

"I heard this morning (Wednesday) that our forces have shot down a Pakistani aircraft".
