Oklahoma QB Murray measured at 5-foot-10 1/8

Forgive the sarcasm, but because "Kyler Murray is 5" immediately began trending on Twitter once the Heisman Trophy winner's measurements were announced, one could be led to believe these disclosures actually have a single bearing whatsoever on his ability to play the sport he chose over a professional career in baseball. Instead, he measured an eighth of an inch over 5-10. They are also what can override concerns about a player who maybe doesn't come off so great in a meeting.

There's also the classic hand-size debate with Murray.

"I think that was well-said, " Gruden said. Murray's hands measured 9 4.8 inches.

If you're cynical like me, you view Thursday's developments as such: Murray beefed up to hit a number that would ease worries about his durability.

Australian Cardinal Pell faces abuse sentencing hearing
It is understood Mr Morrison would ask the Governor-General to revoke Pell's AO although only after the appeal, if unsuccessful. He was convicted in December of raping one choirboy in Melbourne's St Patrick's Cathedral and molesting another in 1996.

Denver Broncos general manager John Elway had a similar refrain Wednesday, though he suggested teams that operate more often under center might be less inclined to draft a shorter quarterback.

Murray has been projected to be a top-10 pick by some, but the question has always been about his size. Adderley had an excellent week at the Senior Bowl last month and in an National Football League where teams are reluctant to pay safeties in free agency, a strong performance in Indianapolis could help him follow in the footsteps of quarterback Joe Flacco in 2008 and become only the second DE player drafted in the first round.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday morning that Murray told scouts and personnel of several NFL teams that he does not plan to throw at the combine on Saturday.

The report added that Murray's plans could change, but he now doesn't intend to do much. But things will quickly heat up in Indianapolis, with the 40-yard dash getting the most attention of all the drills to take place. He's going to run extremely fast.
