Oppo teases its own foldable phone

Huawei unveils Mate X folding phone to rival Samsung Galaxy Fold

Huawei's Mate X foldable phone looks way better than Samsung's Galaxy Fold

Oppo VP Brian Shen posted on Chinese microblogging website Weibo four images of a prototype of its foldable smartphone that looks more identical to Huawei's Mate X than the Samsung Galaxy Fold.

In an interview on Sunday, Ji explained that "in the short term this smartphone is important to stimulate the 5G industry and open the door to new collaboration".

But Huawei never offered the public a glimpse of its secretive phone until this week in Barcelona, when it finally took the wraps off the Mate X. But judging from the curious crowd at Huawei's booth, it seems like the surprise factor worked.

But while every tech company is now rushing to release their own foldable device this year to compete with the Mate X and Samsung's Galaxy Fold, TCL, which you may know for its excellent TVs sold at bargain prices, is taking a wait-and-see approach. We are seeing a lot of progress. But most importantly, the transition is seamless and you can also barely see the hinge between the two screens (which is great).

Unlike in-folding type of Galaxy Fold, Huawei Mate X does not fold exactly in half, but is an out-folding type that has a bigger risk of screen breakage.

According to Huawei, the reason was simply a strong demand for its premium smartphones.

The Reaction With Injuries Aplenty As Liverpool Held At Old Trafford
The Liverpool manager suggested his team had been affected by the stop-start nature of the first half. Solskjaer clearly felt that the referee should have taken more action to protect the England striker.

The Huawei Mate X and Galaxy Fold also sport different camera setups. The phone has 3 screens in order to be usable in folding position without worrying that the display will be scratched like it happens on Galaxy Fold that has a screen which closes on the outside so one part of the display will be used as the back of the phone.

In summary, the LG V50 has a 6.4-inch notched display with a 3120×1440 resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Here's how it works: you swipe down from the top of the screen on a new Galaxy S10, enable wireless power share in the menu by tapping an icon, then place the phone face down on a table. The Huawei Mate X folds out flat, courtesy of the company's patented "Falcon Wing" hinge technology. The smartphone arrives with a suitable 4, 500mAh battery which is only worthy looking at the screen size on the smartphone.

Huawei says the Mate X is the "world's fastest foldable 5G smartphone", and that its position as a manufacturer of 5G network infrastructure has given it a unique advantage because the company was able to test the phone on internal 5G networks before release.

One other noticeable difference in the Huawei Mate X vs. Galaxy Fold comparison is how the cameras are housed.
