Pacquiao returns to defend his WBA title in his first fight on USA soil in more than two years against must-see attraction Adrien Broner - live Saturday, January 19 at 9PM ET/6PM PT on SHOWTIME PPV. Judges Tim Cheatham and Glenn Feldman had it 116-112 for Pacquiao, who Dave Moretti had it 117-111. He was missing. I hit him clean more times.

He said: "I am happy to be back here and happy to be fighting [tonight]". "The Manny Pacquiao journey will still continue".

Broner angrily said, "I beat him", when the fight was over.

He wanted to see what Manny Pacquiao had left and if a rematch with him later in the year would be of interest. "I'm willing to fight again to Floyd Mayweather if he's willing to come back in boxing".

Mayweather gave no reaction when the camera panned on him as he opted to stay out of the ring and the limelight with the crowd desperate to learn if the two will have another dust-up.

He said: " Jeremy Corbyn won't talk to Theresa May until she does the thing that the Chancellor says they are going to do". If he were in government, Blair said, "I would already be having discussions with Europe about the terms of extension".

Manny Pacquiao showed Sunday night (NZ time) he's still got plenty of fight for a fighter on the wrong side of 40. That victory set the stage for his return to the United States for the first time in 26 months to face Broner in what could have served as a warm-up for a rematch with Floyd Mayweather. Broner never landed more than eight punches in any round.

Broner (33-3-1, 24 KOs) will be eyeing his first win since January 2017.

Broner yet again proved to be far more talk than action, as he spent much of the fight circling and didn't seem all that interested in engaging. The Filipino mega star used a superb right jab to set up his lethal straight left throughout the bout and he dug to Broner's body repeatedly in every round.

With Mayweather watching from ringside, Pacquiao showed flashes of his old speed in winning a unanimous 12-round decision over Broner to easily defend his piece of the welterweight title. Pacquiao connected on 112 of 568 and Broner landed 50 of 295.

By the final few rounds, Broner looked to be in survival mode, more interested in hearing the final bell than trying to win the fight. "I beat him. Smart boxing".
