However, WSJ did not mention anything about the 3D camera making it to the new iPhone. Given the recent decline in iPhone sales, that means it might be until 2020 when we really see what lessons (if any) Apple has taken from recent events. Declining sales for lower end models. and the escalating price of higher-end models, caused Apple to restrategize and cut back on their cheaper phones.

It's important to clarify that at this point in the production timeline, Apple likely already can not change major features for the 2019 models, but the phones are still not finalized by any means, so other changes are possible.

The iPhone has the distinction of being among the most mobile devices in the market right now and that puts it out of reach to a lot of buyers.
Brick-and-mortar retailer GOME Retail Holdings has discounted a range of iPhone models, while several authorized Apple resellers on Tmall, a marketplace run by e-commerce giant Alibaba, are set to offer discounts on Sunday.
