A mother wounded by gunfire pleads to her daughter's killer to come forward.
Thirty-year-old LaPorsha Washington told KTRK-TV from her hospital bed Monday that the man driving a red pickup sped up after firing into her vehicle, only to pull in front and slow down before firing again.
Investigators say the driver of the pickup, described as a man in his 40s, fired into the vehicle, striking Jazmine and wounding her mother, 30-year-old LaPorsha Washington.
Authorities said three other girls were in the vehicle when the shooting happened.
