Ronaldo speaks out after alleged racist chanting during Inter-Napoli

Kalidou Koulibaly leaves the pitch after receiving a red card in the game against Inter. Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti says the next time a member of his team is racially abused the way Koulibaly was he'd be happy for the Serie A side to stop playing

Napoli coach Ancelotti: We’ll walk off with racist abuse

Tensions were high inside the stadium as well, where Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti accused Inter Milan fans of repeated racist chanting.

On Thursday, the Italian league said Inter Milan would play their next two home matches behind closed doors as punishment for the racist chants.

The highlight of the game was when Senegalese defender Khalidou Koulibaly was sent off after receiving two yellow cards in a matter of seconds in the 80th minute. "Next time we'll stop playing ourselves", said Ancelotti after the match.

Milan police chief Marcello Cardona says the 35-year-old supporter died in hospital, after he was injured before the Boxing Day game.

The Napoli defender has been given a two-match man nonetheless, in a move that doesn't shine the most positive light on the FIGC (Italian Football Federation) who have failed once again to take a hard stance against racism.

The combative, heavily-tattooed Belgian, who according to Italian media arrived late for training several times in the previous weeks, has not made the expected impact since his move from Roma in the summer, partly due to injury.

Koulibaly was sent off 10 minutes from the end of Napoli's 1-0 defeat at the San Siro, with substitute Lautaro Martinez scoring a stoppage-time victor for Inter.

Miley's sisters Noah and Brandi as well as Liam's brothers Chris and Luke were also in attendance at the party. The popular couple met nearly a decade ago on the set of their movie The Last Song .

Koulibaly was sent off during the game, and was visibly shaken by the racial abuse he suffered.

"'No to racism and any offense and discrimination!"

"I'm disappointed by the defeat and above all to have left my brothers", said Koulibaly on Twitter. Usually, he is very calm and professional, but he was subjected to monkey noises throughout the game.

The mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala, apologised to Koulibaly over the insults, describing them as "a disgrace" on his Facebook page.

"If you get to a point where you won't stop a game, after repeated requests, it really means that you do not have the courage to impose what should be the rules of the sport".

Salvini added that he would gather club and fan representatives from all Serie A and B teams for a meeting to make sure "football returns to being a moment of fun and not violence".
