"In (withdrawing) from Saudi Arabia, we would have to do so elsewhere if we wanted to be consistent", she said, noting the Cirque performs in more than 60 countries.
Riyadh has sought to distance its leadership, particularly the crown prince, from Khashoggi's killing, despite a string of allegations implicating him in the killing.

He is cited as being in frequent phone communication with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and took an unscheduled trip to Saudi Arabia in 2017.
The Cirque put on a show in Saudi Arabia on September 23 to mark the country's national holiday, which was before Khashoggi was killed but during a diplomatic quarrel between Ottawa and Riyadh. The Turkish president added that orders for the killing came from the highest levels of the kingdom.
