Xiaomi Redmi 6 64GB Storage Model Redmi 6 Pro Available on Open Sale in India

Xiaomi Redmi 6 64GB model starts at just Rs. 7,999

Chinese phonemaker Xiaomi is releasing its first handset in the United Kingdom, as the company seeks to expand its reach beyond Greater China.

Consumers have been able to buy Xiaomi phones in Spain since last November, and in Italy and France since May.

Xiaomi's European expansion continues, with the wireless carrier Three handling the network coverage for the new Xiaomi smartphones in the UK.

Xiaomi has a lot of fantastic phones, and they all offer great value.

That is now changing as today, Xiaomi held an event in London to celebrate the company's official launch in the UK. There will thus be a zero-second instant start and Xiaomi promises that this would not slow down the device and in-turn claims the new line of devices will have an improved start-up speed. In addition to the smartphones, Xiaomi also sold over 400,000 Mi LED TVs and more than 2.1 million Mi Ecosystem products and accessories.

Nadal this week pulled out of the tournament in London - guaranteeing Djokovic will end the season as the world number one. It has taken Federer longer to hit cruising speed in the second half of 2018, perhaps in part because of a hand injury.

The rear glass panel is clear and Xiaomi claims it allows owners to see the "phone's intricacies" easily. I have to say, it looks incredibly cool - move over colour gradients, I want a transparent phone!

As per our report, the Mi 8 Pro is indeed the Mi 8 Explorer Edition that was launched in China on May this year as opposed to this similarly named variant that was released in China a few months later. Those are dummy components that you can see, but it gives the phone a different look to nearly any other phone on the market. The display itself is a 6.21in AMOLED panel, using the 18.7:9 aspect ratio and 2248 x 1080p resolution.

Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM.

Following the Mi 8 Pro's debut in London on Thursday, November 8, Xiaomi announced both the Mi 8 Lite and Mi 8 Pro would be making their way to the Philippines.
