Don’t Worry, Everybody, Ruth Bader Ginsburg Is "Up and Working"

The justice's fans can take a deep breath: Ruth Bader Ginsburg's fractured ribs don't seem to be causing her much alarm.

Justice Ginsburg is released from the hospital...

The 85-year-old justice was admitted to George Washington University Hospital on Thursday morning after a fall in her office the night before.

We can all breathe a sigh of relief now: Her nephew said last night that Ginsburg is already "up and working", according to Reuters.

The 85-year-old Ginsburg is "doing well" and was working from home, Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said. Stiepleman wrote the script for the film, called On the Basis of Sex. "I can't promise they were good jokes but they were jokes".

This type of injury tends to be painful because the ribs move with each breath, said CBS News chief medical correspondent Dr. Jon LaPook, who is not involved in Ginsburg's treatment.

Bader Ginsburg has battled multiple health issues in the past, her most recent being a blocked artery in 2014 during which she underwent a procedure to have a stent implanted.

As documentarian Cohen tells it, she's "one of the coolest people in the country", but she's also one of the toughest, and the "RBG" filmmakers are optimistic that she's going to be just fine, just as she always is. It was then confirmed that she had broken her ribs.

She was appointed in 1993 by President Bill Clinton as the second woman to serve on the Supreme Court. She has no plans to retire.
