During a far-ranging interview with Ms Kara Swisher of the technology website Recode (Ms Swisher is also a contributor to The New York Times' Opinion section), Mrs Clinton initially said "no" when asked whether she wanted to run for president again. Swisher called out the pauses, and this was Clinton's next sentence: "Well, I'd like to be president".

"I know they all look alike", she joked, prompting a round of shocked laughter.

SWISHER: So are you going to be doing any of that lifting? "I'm not even going to think about it until after we get through this November 6th election about what's going to happen after that".

Clinton corrected Swisher immediately. While many Indian immigrants in the USA run convenience stores, their portrayal has been under fire as a crude racial stereotype. And it's easy to see why: If you just read the transcript, Clinton looks very, very bad.

"She's going to be out helping candidates".

Clinton responded: "Cautious politician time - I've been there." .

Caught up in her private server scandal, in 2015 Clinton tried to shrug off the grisly details of the affair with a harmless joke.

Grading the Demaryius Thomas trade; remembering his career in Denver
Belichick has pushed the Gordon tardiness rumors to the side, but can we believe him? He doesn't hit the market until 2020. Gordon, 27, has seen a rapid increase in playing time since being acquired by the Patriots in a mid-September trade.

"I like her too, I'd be very happy with Hillary", Trump said.

Right wing commentators (by commentators I mean people with Twitter) are lashing out at Clinton for her remarks, calling her "racist" and apparently missing her sarcasm or to whom her remarks are directed.

"Oh I have no idea", Mrs. Clinton replied.

He added, "If she can't let go of the spotlight, that's no good for these other [potential Democratic candidates], either, because it keeps the speculation going".

"We have confused our friends and our enemies", she said.

Donald Trump Jr., President Donald Trump's son, pounced on Clinton's comment and compared it to the manner in which the news media covers controversial statements from the president. If she wants to go out there and campaign, have at it. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton showed how comfortable she is with Black Americans Friday when she made a joke about all Black people looking alike.

"Mussolini says [in the book], 'When you pluck a chicken feather by feather, nobody notices, '" Mrs. Clinton recounted. "I think it would be pretty damn clear if she was".
