According to Spectrum News NY1 and The Hollywood Reporter, Baldwin allegedly got into a confrontation with a man over parking and subsequently punched the individual.

Alec Baldwin owns a penthouse apartment in Devonshire House, a luxury apartment building on 28 East 10th street, in New York's upscale Greenwich Village.

A police department spokesperson told the BBC that the actor had been taken into custody and faced a probable charge of assault.

A rep for the star, who has been getting a lot of attention for playing Trump on Saturday Night Live the last two years, has not yet responded to Yahoo's request for comment.

It looked like a good decision when, with only two minutes on the clock, Iheanacho swept in a cross from Marc Albrighton. He will have an examination and then we will see, of course", Puel told BT Sport.

Police are reporting that Baldwin claimed he had a family member holding the spot when a man driving a station wagon pulled up and took it for himself.

This is not the first time the actor has been in trouble with law enforcement.

The hot-headed New Yorker has gotten into several altercations in the Big Apple and beyond - though he doesn't ever seem to apologize for his behavior. The victim is approximately 40-years-old and was taken to Lenox Hill hospital. Most recently he has made headlines for his depiction of President Donald Trump on "SNL". According to TMZ, a witness overheard Baldwin yelling, "Fuck off!"

Cops reportedly arrested Baldwin and are keeping him at the nearby 6th Precinct. He was charged with battery, and later acquitted, in a case involving a photographer in the '90s.
