Bill Cosby's New Mug Shot After Being Transferred to Maximum Security Prison

O.J. Simpson says Bill Cosby will need added protection in prison

O.J. Simpson suggested that Bill Cosby will be at increased risk of getting attacked in prison due to the crime he’s in for

The Department of Corrections provided details of Cosby's incarceration Wednesday, one day after the 81-year-old comedian was sentenced to three to 10 years for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home almost 15 years ago.

Bill Cosby was sentenced to no less than three years and up to a maximum of 10 years in prison today following an April conviction on three counts of aggravated indecent assault of Andrea Constand.

Bill Cosby's mugshot dated 7:06 p.m. on September 25, 2018.

The judge also called the 81-year-old a "sexually violent predator", and it was determined that his name will be on a sex-offender registry sent to neighbors, schools, and victims.

The sentencing comes after Constand's victim statement was released earlier today, where she wrote that "Bill Cosby took my handsome, healthy young spirit and crushed it". His legal team has already filled an appeal of the trial.

Another woman accuses Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct
The US Senate's top Democrat Chuck Schumer demanded Wednesday that Republicans "immediately suspend" the confirmation process. On Kavanaugh's claim that he stayed a virgin for many years after high school, Avenatti said: "I don't believe it".

Cosby spent a few hours at the county jail Tuesday before heading to SCI Phoenix, a 3,830-bed lockup that opened two months ago.

Calling Cosby "one of the greatest civil rights leaders in the United States for over the past 50 years", spokesman Andrew Wyatt on Tuesday decried the trial as the "most sexist and racist" in the country's history. "It is no accident that prosecutor still works so close with anti-black and anti-male activist groups who tried to extort $100 million from Dr. Cosby in 2014 and continues to produce racist and sexist publicity against him through the 35 clients". He also feels that the highly publicized nature of Cosby's crimes and allegations will make him an easy target for other prisoners.

In a statement issued after the sentence was handed down, Cosby's wife, Camille, claimed that a phone recording played at trial was doctored.

Constand testified that Cosby gave her what she thought were herbal pills to ease stress, then penetrated her with his fingers as she lay immobilized on a couch.

Sixty women have accused Cosby of sexual abuse.
