New Joker Movie Video Reveals Joaquin Phoenix's Clown Makeup

There are roughy 73874239 Joker movies in development, but director Todd Phillips' upcoming project has the edge - an actual Joker. That same pointed look is seen in this Joker makeup, and the movie is set to take place in the '80s which would be after Gacy was caught, so maybe it serves as "real life" inspiration for an in-universe character?

A few days ago, we got our first look at Joaquin Phoenix as The Joker.

Now director Todd Phillips has shared a new vid, possibly a makeup test, in which we at least get to see the Batman villain in his clown getup. Phoenix's Joker appears to be a step back from Jared Leto's "Damaged" Joker from Suicide Squad.

Trump wonders why Kavanaugh accuser didn't 'call the Federal Bureau of Investigation 36 years ago'
Susan Collins of ME and Jeff Flake of Arizona - said that unless Ford testified Monday they would move on to Kavanagh's vote. Trump told Hannity on Thursday night that the Senate Judiciary Committee should move swiftly to finish vetting Kavanaugh.

Robert De Niro is in talks to join the movie as a talk-show host who plays a role in driving Phoenix's character to madness.

Labeled a "camera test" by Phillips, the clip ends with Phoenix's Joker wearing clown makeup. As the clapperboard goes down, we see Phoenix stood still as the tiresome, cardigan-clad "Arthur" with his hands in his pockets.

The film centres on the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Warner Bros. describes it as a gritty character study and a broader cautionary tale.

Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2) co-stars as hardened single mother Sophie Dumond, the potential love interest of Phoenix's proto-Joker. Currently, the film is in production and will star Joaquin Phoenix and Robert De Niro with an October 4, 2019 release date.
