The Green Bay Packers accomplished something Sunday night that had never been done before in the long history of the franchise.

Note: I'm a Packers fan and was ecstatic when the Bears opted to kick instead of go for it on fourth-and-2.

It was Rodgers' first regular-season game back at Lambeau Field since last September against the Bears. "During the game, we just wanted to make sure that he got into a rhythm and then just see how it went".

On Sunday night, Rodgers returned in the second half after being carted to the locker room in the second quarter with a knee injury.

Even after Rodgers came back, Green Bay's win probability dropped under 5 percent when Rodgers was called for intentional grounding with 1:26 left in the third quarter, setting up a third-and-14 from the Packers' own 15-yard line.

Operating a no-huddle offense, but staying primarily in the pocket, Rodgers engineered a comeback from a 20-0 deficit early in the third quarter.

Trump spooked Pentagon with draft tweet on North Korea: Woodward
Mueller III have danced around whether the president will agree to be interviewed by prosecutors. Fleischer said there are hundreds of people who "think they're "senior" officials".

Trubisky started off great in the two scripted drives by the Bears, completing eight-of-nine passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.

Rodgers didn't have full mobility against the Bears, but Kearse said that didn't matter. On the eighth play of Green Bay's next drive, Rodgers fired deep to WR Geronimo Allison, who hauled in a 39-yard TD with a diving grab in the back corner of the end zone.

Rodgers said in his postgame interview Sunday night on NBC that he would play vs. the Vikings, against whom he broke his collarbone previous year.

McCarthy says Rodgers is still sore. This snap count will most likely be the final of Smith's career, but it's up to him to get up to physical and mental standards to play every down. He started by sacking Packers backup quarterback DeShone Kizer after Mack missed.

Mitchell Trubisky was 23 of 35 for 171 yards. The Raiders are coming off a hard to understand offseason that ended with a devastating trade that saw their best player, Khalil Mack, head to Chicago while the Rams are coming off an incredible offseason that ended with them signing their best player, Aaron Donald, to a mega contract.

"From the second we sat down, you just knew this guy's got a lot higher standard for himself than anybody else, " Staley said. This was a problem in last year's playoff game when Nagy was with the Kansas City Chiefs, and they lost in similar fashion, due to conservative play calling.
