Trump insulted the intelligence of both the National Basketball Association superstar and CNN host Don Lemon in a Friday night tweet, writing "Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon". LeBron James is a beloved athlete using his wealth and resources to make the world a better place, aka everything that Trump stands against.
Of course, the president also got a final dig in at James, saying "I like Mike", a reference to all-time great Chicago Bulls guard Michael Jordan.
The tweet came after James said during the interview that Trump is using sports to try and "divide" the US.
Lemon asked James if he would consider running for president, to which the sports star said: "Let's see first".
This tweet comes just days after James opened his remarkable I Promise public school in Akron, Ohio, which was the whole reason for his sit down with Lemon.
"You would never, you don't want to talk to him?"
James's last message was about his newly completed I Promise School in Akron, a public and nonprofit partnership created to help underserved kids in his OH hometown.

On the call, Jefferies & Co. analyst Brent Thill said that "many investors are having a hard time reconciling that deceleration". More likely, though, market buzzards are holding off because of how quickly some analysts are turning on the company.
The defense of LeBron James brought Anthony Tolliver out of hiding.
President Donald Trump took to Twitter on August 3 to totally diss LeBron James in a tweet that slammed his interview with Don Lemon and implied that he wasn't smart.
James is coming off an eventful week where he opened up a school in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.
"Rather than criticizing [LeBron James], we should be celebrating him for his charity work and efforts to help kids", Kasich, a frequent critic of the president, tweeted Saturday morning. "Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon". Not one word or follow-up that takes issue with anything either man has actually said. Donald first revoked his invitation to player Stephen Curry after he said he didn't want to go because of Donald.
"Who's the real dummy? Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!"
"I'm sure it's just a coincidence that Trump thinks African-Americans are dumb", Tweeted political writer Max Boot.
