More than 100 dead in Pakistan after a suicide attack at a campaign rally.
The country's President Mamnoon Hussain, caretaker Prime Minister Nasir-ul-Mulk and army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa condemned the attack. Pak lost a highly devoted & capable politician Siraj Raisani.
The funeral was delayed to ensure the attendance of family members traveling there from overseas.
"A truly proud Pakistani who made enemies of Pakistan afraid", he added.
In the Friday bombing, at least 150 people were wounded, as a candidate addressed his supporters in Mastung, in troubled Baluchistan province near the Afghan border, the provincial home affairs minister said. "We will continue to stand with the people of Pakistan and the broader South Asia region in their fight against terrorism", he said.
"People put. bodies and the injured in rickshaws and other vehicles and rushed them to hospital before rescue officials arrived", he added.
With two more deaths, the number of casualties mounted to 135 in the yesterday's twin attacks in Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provinces.
Uniformed men escorted the Sharifs from their aeroplane after it touched down in the central city of Lahore at around 8.45pm local time, a Reuters reporter on board said.
"Since there was a limited number of ambulances, rescue workers only picked up the wounded".

With terrorists striking at ease before the general elections, Pakistani security establishment was under pressure to improve security and intelligence gathering to avoid further election carnage.
