Police in the Indian capital said they found 11 bodies in a village home in mysterious circumstances.
Quoting sources, news agency ANI reported that 10 bodies were found blindfolded and hanging from a railing in the house while one was found lying on the floor.
Seven of the victims are women and four are men. However, Delhi Joint Commissioner of Police, Rajesh Khurana, said that they were investigating all angles including murder.
"It is a tragic incident. Let's wait for their investigation to be over", Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who visited the spot, said.
The family ran a grocery shop and plywood business out of their double-storey home in Sant Nagar, in north Delhi's Burari's area.

The police officials said, bodies have been sent for post mortem to ascertain the cause of death and to rule out the possibility of foul play. Another police officer said that suicide is being suspected but possible angles of homicide are also being investigated.
Their shop would usually open by 6 in the morning, but when it didn't till 7.30, a customer knocked on the doors to check and was shocked to see all of them hanging from the ceiling.
Police are questioning neighbours and scanning CCTV footage in the area for leads.
