Cops say they raided the gang's New Jersey hideout where they recognized one suspect because of his droopy drawers.

Kevin Alvarez, 19, was arrested and charged Sunday with second-degree murder, manslaughter, gang assault and assault.

The identities of the remaining four suspects taken into custody were not immediately released. Trinitarios is the largest Dominican gang in the United States and is primarily based in NY and New Jersey, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. That suspect has not yet been identified.

Also on Tuesday, New York officials announced that they had arrested another individual in the Bronx in connection to Guzman-Feliz's death - bringing the total number of suspects to eight. Information on his lawyer wasn't immediately available.

Police officials say some of the men responsible for Guzman-Feliz's death - if not all - are connected to the Trinitarios street gang. He never made it home that night.

Guzman-Feliz - an aspiring police officer known as Junior - was beaten and stabbed repeatedly by five men outside a Bronx bodega and was able to walk himself to a nearby hospital after the attack, where he died.

The mortally wounded teen limped to St. Barnabas Hospital, but he could not be saved.

Shea said Trinitarios are also involved in a June 18 stabbing attack on a 14-year-old boy along the Bronx River Parkway, which was caught on video, and said he believes the incident to be linked to the attack on Guzman-Feliz.

"He was a sweet kid with a very good heart", she told the crowd of her son who had dreams of becoming an NYPD detective.

New Yorkers have been shocked by the senseless murder.

A gang leader later told one of Guzman-Feliz's relatives that he was "sorry" about killing the wrong person.

His mother says the gang had been after her son since a year ago, when he broke up with a girl linked to the gang.

"We cried. He was innocent".

According to the News, the sex tape that started the fracas showed one man rapping while another had sex with a woman whose face was covered in a shirt. A vigil is scheduled for Tuesday, followed by a funeral on Wednesday.

The victim's sister, Genesis Collado-Feliz, 17, said her younger brother loved playing video games and would come to her for advice about girls.

"My son was my son, but he was my best friend", he said.

"He tried to run into the store because he thought he'd be safe".

Leandra Feliz expressed how thankful she is for the support she's gotten from all around the world since her son's brutal slaying Wednesday night outside a bodega in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx. 'They were grown men and he was only 15'.

In response, the Be Careful hitmaker encouraged her Instagram followers to "check out" the GoFundMe account, which has raised more than USD147,000 for Junior's family so far.
