Anticipation for the Group G opener against Tunisia on June 18 goes up a notch when Gareth Southgate's men jet out to Russian Federation on Tuesday to continue a preparation camp that has impressed in terms of quality and kinship.

But for me, I don't think it gets much bigger than the World Cup.

The Three Lions leave for Russian Federation tomorrow before next Monday's Group G opener against Tunisia in Volgograd.

Southgate's squad were pictured in their exclusively tailored suits for this summer's tournament, sponsored by Marks & Spencer.

Local 24 reporter, Annette Peagler went to Cheeks home and tried to get a comment from her family, but no one answered the door. They say Leimome Cheeks is a very nice woman and they can't believe she did something like this. "I think she needs some help".

After flying into Saint Petersburg, Gareth Southgate's squad headed to their base camp in the seaside town of Repino, 45 kilometres (30 miles) northwest of the city, where preparations will start for the Three Lions' opening game against Tunisia on Monday.

Among those to take to social media were Jamie Vardy's wife Rebekah and Harry Kane's fiance Katie Goodland.

England have warmed up with wins over Nigeria and Costa Rica, with many pundits praising the effective - and sometimes stylish - football on show.

England manager, Gareth Southgate, named Kane as the team captain at the 2018 World Cup, and the player hopes to be the second English man to lift the World Cup after Bobby Moore who captained England in the 1966 World Cup.

Hopefully this won't be the last place we see the Three Lions at this World Cup. "I know what those tournament experiences can be like and we desperately want to bring that".

They also face Panama in Nizhny Novgorod on June 24 and Belgium in Kaliningrad four days later.
