Dennis Rodman Breaks Down In Tears Discussing Trump-Kim Summit

Observers say the document lacks substance, in particular on how denuclearisation would be achieved.

"His country does love him", Trump said.

For the record of history, never before has a U.S. President spoken this way of a dictator accused of crimes against his own people.

The priority treatment of what even Pyongyang is calling the "historic" meeting between Kim and Trump in Singapore underscores just how much of a propaganda coup the North saw in Tuesday's unprecedented summit.

Trump, who starred on NBC's reality show "The Apprentice" before entering politics, told reporters he was "not concerned at all" that the film could be used as propaganda, adding, "We could use that video for other countries".

Pentagon officials were not immediately able to provide any details about Mr Trump's remarks on suspending drills, something that the USA military has long resisted.

Other pages showed US and North Korean officials having their extended meeting, a working lunch and later, Trump and Kim signing a joint agreement that marked the end to the summit.

Now we get the views from two people to whom we have turned many times throughout the previous year, first on threats between the USA and North Korea and now negotiations.

Of four pledges made in Trump and Kim's joint statement, the text regarding denuclearization reads: "Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work towards complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula".

North Korean state media is reporting US President Donald Trump has been invited to the secretive state after the historic summit with Kim Jong Un in Singapore. It was the first meeting between sitting leaders of the two countries, which are still technically in a state of war.

It's an appalling reality, but that's the world we live in so I suppose we need to show gratitude when two leaders are willing to agree not to annihilate each other's populations #ThankyouforNotNukingUs. "There were obstacles but we overcame them to be here". We fly in bombers from Guam... to practice and drop bombs all over the place and then go back to Guam.

Warmbier's parents, Fred and Cindy Warmbier said they appreciated Trump's comments.

The US has long held the view that North Korea's illegitimate military activities can't be traded away for its right to do legitimate military activities.

The working lunch was the final part of the summit between Trump and Kim.

At the USA military command in South Korea, officials also reacted with uncertainty.

The US president said he had, and did not retract his description of Mr Kim as "talented". "Anybody that takes over a situation like he did at 26 years of age and is able to run it and run it tough".

"Following this historic summit, I remain skeptical but hopeful that this new dialogue can translate into meaningful progress", Portman said in a statement. It's going to start very quickly. "I mean, they're going to be getting rid of sites".

"I am willing to do a lot of things to get [Kim] to give up their nuclear weapons and end their missile program".
