Battlefield V is due out October 19 for PC and consoles, and EA has already promised to drop the Premium Pass and map packs for this entry in the long-running series.

It will include everything that's become iconic of the Battlefield games in recent years, including destruction, teamplay, and vehicles.

Take on classic modes like Conquest or experiences like Grand Operations, where you'll participate in vast historical battles across multiple maps - and modes - and relive moments of bravery and desperation while fighting your way to the final objective.

DICE confirmed the much rumoured Battlefield 5 Battle Royale mode, simply called "Royale", at EA Play 2018 today - the first major event of E3 2018.

Pixel 3 may have wireless charging and Active Edge may return
What we're not seeing on the back, however, is glass - which, from current standards, is required for wireless charging . The Google Pixel 3 XL was leaked in a set of images this week that you'll see above and/or below.

Which one should you look to play instead? In the case of "Battlefield V", it's not clear how large the mode is or how it will work.

More information about Battlefield 5 and its new multiplayer mode will come out during Xbox's press conference Sunday. Players will have the ability to dive and smash through windows and move around heavy turrets from their fixed position. A Battle Royale mode will be coming to the title after release but we will get more details on that later this year.

The world of competitive online shooting games officially has battle royale fever. Keep it locked to VGR and we'll let you know more about what we think as additional details leak out.
